A plant-based diet is one made up of predominantly whole, plant foods. There are loads of different variations, but at the core, it generally includes lots of fruits, veggies, legumes, whole grains, nuts, and seeds. Many vegans choose as well to cut out processed foods and to buy organic and locally sourced if possible. (Please note that eating organic or cutting out processed foods doesn’t have to do anything with veganism, it is a personal choice).
